Jenna Wolfe is close with her TODAY colleagues — but not that close! The correspondent and TODAY Weekend anchor, 39, was a newsmaker herself on Wednesday, March 27, when she both came out as gay and announced that she was pregnant, with girlfriend (and fellow NBC journalist) Stephanie Gosk set to co-parent the baby-to-be.
Happy to elaborate on the pregnancy further with E! News, Wolfe said that she and Gosk are keeping one thing private: Their child's father. "The rumor is that it's Lester Holt," Wolfe quipped of her co-anchor on the weekend edition of the NBC morning show. E! News' Alicia Quarles joked she heard it was another TODAY man: Matt Lauer. Alas, the moms-to-be have vowed to keep the baby's paternity "under wraps," Wolfe confirmed.

As for the decision to conceive? "We are almost three years into our relationship and it felt like the right time," Wolfe explained. "It was more a product of where we were in our relationship." And both women, despite their busy, globetrotting schedules, will make it work. "Whenever you decide to have a baby is when you decide to have a baby, and you build and carve your life around that," she said. "
Both Wolfe and Gosk were game to carry the baby themselves. To decide, they settled it fairly. "We rock-paper,-scissored it," Wolfe said. "I won 34-31, so I'm carrying the baby, bam!"
